Where Is Point Nemo?
Point Nemo, officially designated as “the oceanic pole of inaccessibility,” marks the furthest point from any landmass on Earth. Often dubbed “the middle of nowhere,” it sits amidst over 1,000 miles of uninterrupted ocean in every direction. This unparalleled remoteness renders it the most isolated location on our planet, so distant from civilization that the nearest humans are, in fact, astronauts.
In a striking convergence of technology and geography, the International Space Station (ISS) is slated to meet its final destination at Point Nemo in 2031. This deliberate crash forms part of a meticulously planned endeavour by NASA and other global space agencies to establish an underwater space graveyard for retiring space debris.

Following the successful ascent of Centrelink Sponsorship V12, fuelled by a relentless dedication to cave fitness and an unwavering visionary spirit, I found myself drawn to the challenge of linking the low start of Short Fuse – reverse Anger Management. This represented a notable progression from the intensity of Shaka Laka Boom V13, requiring heightened focus and precision to navigate the intricate movements without faltering before the crux.
After refining beta and investing time in practice sessions, I seized the opportunity on a promising day, surrounded by supportive peers and favourable conditions. The eventual send was hard-earned, underscored by the considerable effort invested in its achievement.
I look forward with anticipation to the ongoing development of this ambitious project, recognising its potential as one of the more demanding routes to date.
